Recycled Gold & Silver
At 33Carat, we do not feel that beauty should have to come at a cost. We proudly say “no” to “dirty gold” and promote ethical sourcing through our membership with the Responsible Minerals Initiative.
We use 96% recycled gold and 97% recycled silver, so every piece of jewellery pays homage to the planet, miners, and their people. By using recycled metals, we minimise harm to the environment while extending our appreciation for craftsmanship and care.

Lab grown diamonds
33Carat was one of the first companies to offer ethical options with lab grown diamonds as an alternative to mined diamonds. We audit 92% of our suppliers for safe working conditions, and we promote the use of renewable energy in the production process.
In 2023, we launched two eco-friendly collections:
Renewable Collection: diamonds grown, cut, and polished with 100% wind and solar energy.
Capture Collection: diamonds created with CO₂ captured before it is released into the atmosphere.
It is our goal, by 2025, to have more than 50% of our lab diamonds hold independent environmental certification.

Since 2015, 33Carat has developed its Fairmined collections and assisted new certifications through its 33Carat Foundation, so your jewellery can contribute to the world.

Ethically Crafted
Our jewellery is responsibly made in safe, healthy environments. All suppliers follow our Code of Conduct, and over 90% were audited last year to ensure the highest standards. We’re committed to raising the bar in safety, health, and transparency, with plans to share audit insights and factory improvements by 2025.
Conscious Packaging
Every detail matters, even the box. Our packaging uses recycled materials, FSC-certified wood, and designs built to last a lifetime. Since 2021, we’ve embraced 100% recycled paper, reducing hundreds of tons of CO2, and we continue to shrink our packaging to minimise waste.

We’re leading the jewellery industry toward clean energy. By supporting wind and solar initiatives, we reduce our environmental footprint while creating pieces that honour and protect the planet.
Jewellery with a Second Life
Circularity is our promise. We craft jewellery from responsibly sourced or recycled materials to last generations. When it’s time for a new piece, our free lifetime upgrade lets you select a new diamond while we recycle or recertify your old materials for a fresh journey in the jewellery lifecycle.
